Time Plan

In order to be efficient with my time throughout this project, I am creating a time plan. This time plan will include what I need to get completed each week. Currently, this time plan is just a basic idea of when I should achieve tasks, however, I can refer to this during the final major project and change anything that needs to be altered.

Week One: 10th February

  • Progress Checks for the Genres project.
  • Commence FMP.
  • Writing proposal drafts.
  • Begin research for my final major project, including artists.
  • Look at criteria and previous student work to help find inspiration.

Week Two: 17th February

  • Half term.
  • Research related to FMP, add to bibliography.
  • Start to create mood boards which will inspire ideas. Include relevant images similar to what I might want to create.

Week Three: 24th February

  • Continue with artist research, add anything to bibliography.
  • Finish any mood boards.
  • Make sure draft proposal is complete.
  • Deadline for first proposal draft – 26th
  • Prepare for first photoshoot.

Week Four: 2nd March

  • Make sure I have a final proposal that I am pleased with.
  • Add any final research to bibliography.
  • Deadline for proposal, time plan & bibliography – 4th March
  • First photoshoot.

Week Five: 9th March

  • First group crit to discuss project proposals and moodboards.
  • Edit images from first shoot.
  • Evaluate first photoshoot in blog.

Week Six: 16th March

  • Deadline for first shoot.
  • Create power point presentation on FMP.

Week Seven: 23rd March

  • Deadline for powerpoint presentations.
  • Preparation for second photoshoot.

Week Eight: 30th March

  • Easter
  • Second photoshoot.

Week Nine: 6th April

  • Easter
  • Edit images from second photoshoot.
  • Start evaluating second shoot in blog.

Week Ten: 13th April

  • Finish second shoot evaluation.
  • Plan for third photoshoot.

Week Eleven: 20th April

  • Deadline for Second shoot.

Week Twelve: 27th April

  • Progress checks.
  • Third photoshoot.

Week Thirteen: 4th May

  • Progress checks.
  • Edit images from third shoot.
  • 8th May – Second group crit, to discuss work so far.
  • Start evaluating third shoot.

Week Fourteen: 11th May

  • Finish evaluation for third shoot.
  • Deadline for third shoot.
  • Begin planning fourth shoot.

Week Fifteen: 18th May

  • Fourth shoot.
  • Edit images from shoot.
  • Start evaluating.

Week Sixteen: 25th May

  • Finish evaluating fourth shoot.
  • Deadline for fourth shoot.

Week Seventeen: 1st June

  • Deadline for Blog to be complete – 3rd June.
  • Complete Final images for summer show.

Week Eighteen: 8th June

  • Deadline for final piece – 11th June.

Week Nineteen: 15th June

  • Set up summer show.
  • Sessions run all week.
  • Summer show private view – 18th June, 5-8pm.

Week Twenty: 22nd June

  • Progress check week.
  • Deadline for final evaluation – 22nd June.

Thursday 9th July Y2 Moderator – TBC. 
Results released after this date.
